Amazing Nature – Kamenjak
Cape Kamenjak is one of the most beautiful and interesting places in Istria, known for its beautiful beaches, clear sea and various outdoor activities.
Beautiful coves and beaches: Kamenjak boasts as many as 30 coves and 11 uninhabited islands of the Medulin archipelago. Beaches such as Pinizula, Školjić and Mala Kolombarica are considered some of the most beautiful in the Adriatic.
More than 600 plant species can be found here, including numerous medicinal and aromatic plants, and orchids are particularly prominent. 50 species of butterflies have also been recorded in Kamenjak, as well as various species of reptiles and birds.
